ROUTEHAUL HIGH DESERT LOGISTICS PARTNERS | TERMS & CONDITIONS
Last Updated: March 9, 2026
1. THE ROLE OF THE DISPATCHER
Routehaul High Desert Logistics Partners ("Routehaul") operates as a professional logistics management firm. Routehaul is not a motor carrier, freight forwarder, or equipment owner. Routehaul acts solely as an Authorized Agent and Logistics Manager for the Carrier. By using our services, the Carrier grants Routehaul a Limited Power of Attorney to negotiate freight, execute Broker-Carrier agreements, and sign Rate Confirmations in the Carrier’s name.
2. PERFORMANCE TRIAL & AUTOMATIC TRANSITION
To ensure a high standard of operational synergy, all new partnerships begin with a 7-Day Performance Trial (or the first five loads, whichever occurs first).
Termination: Either party may terminate the partnership during this trial period via written notice (Text or Email).
Automatic Enrollment: If no written notice of termination is received by the 7th day, the Carrier is automatically enrolled into a full-service partnership.
Rate Adjustment: Upon automatic enrollment, the service fee will transition to the Standard Professional Rate (8% or 10% based on the Carrier’s specific agreement tier) for all subsequent loads.
3. THE LOAD INTEGRITY PROTOCOL
To protect the Carrier’s authority and Routehaul’s national reputation, the Carrier agrees to adhere to the 4-Point Photo Verification Protocol:
Secured: Photo of cargo braced/strapped before closing doors.
Locked: Photo of seal/padlock visible at origin.
Arrival: Photo of intact seal/lock at destination before opening.
Unload: Photo of freight status inside the trailer before removal.
Failure to provide these photos constitutes a breach of protocol and may lead to immediate termination of service.
4. THE "RESCUE" PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
Carriers seeking the 0% Rescue Rate (for the first 4 loads following a breakdown) must provide a finalized, itemized Repair Invoice or Towing Receipt. Estimates or quotes will not be accepted. The "Rescue" rate is a professional courtesy intended to offset immediate mechanical costs and is subject to the Dispatcher’s verification.
5. OPERATIONAL LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION
The Carrier is 100% responsible for the safe operation of their vehicle, driver conduct, and adherence to all FMCSA/DOT regulations.
Insurance: Carrier must maintain active Cargo and Auto Liability insurance at all times.
Hold Harmless: Carrier agrees to indemnify and hold Routehaul harmless from any claims, accidents, delays, or cargo losses.
Vetting: Routehaul reserves the right to decline any Carrier with more than three (3) violations or any history of DUI/DWI.
6. NON-SOLICITATION
The Carrier agrees not to back-solicit or directly contact any Shipper or Broker first introduced by Routehaul for a period of twelve (12) months following the termination of service.
7. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any legal disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation shall be settled exclusively in the jurisdiction of San Bernardino County, CA.
